Puri Jagannadh depends on failure with another musing
Telugu Cinema News: The Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh faces a massive failure. Except for iSmart Shankar, mostly all of his movies were flops in the past seven or eight years. But the Liger took the cake. He made over a half dozen movies.
He recently wrote a letter in response to mounting pressure from distributors and exhibitors who have suffered financial losses to compensate them. He pondered philosophical arguments to justify Liger’s failure.
He further wrote in the letter, that failures and successes come in waves. He also said that he had never cheated anyone, except for the people who bought the tickets believing in my talent. He has not duped anyone till now. He is only accountable to the audience.

However, the police protected his family after he complained about the threat and blackmail received from the distributors. The movie Liger produced and directed by Puri Jagannadh was released on 25th August and it ended up being one of the worst movies and one of the year’s biggest flops.
Previously, an audio tape leaked of director Puri Jagannadh warning exhibitors not to pressurize or blackmail him about the refund of ‘Liger’ money, and it goes viral.

He has filed a Police complaint against distributor Warangal Srinu and financier Shobhan for threatening and blackmailing him. Puri Jagannadh promised to compensate them by refunding their entire money. Since the distributors have been demanding a refund, he has leaked an audio tape in which he tells the distributors that he will not bow to blackmail tactics. He also demands police protection at his house for her family members.
